Older Flights
DREAMS-10 (Auburn, Al) April 2011
These are three of the Auburn students that came out to watch the launch.
DREAMS-11 (Mojave) April 2011 (Science over the Mojave)
These nine 5th graders wandered into the desert with fellow NEAT teacher Rob Palassou. They handled all phases of the launch and recovery except the hydrogen balloon in 49 mph winds! The students are from the San Francisco area, and Rob did not try to recruit girls although 7/9 were. On the high school side, it is 50/50.
DREAMS-12 June 2012
With 100 Black Men of Atlanta. Scheduled to coincide with the last space shuttle launch. Due to weather, our launch was scrubbed and launched from south Georgia.
DREAMS-13
View from 106,711 feet -- DREAMS-13 successful with Quest for Stars joint mission. Thanks Bobby Russell! Thank to you and your students luther! We had an awesome day aloft. I can't wait for round two as we learned alot on this flight and now will improve our designs. Next time, let's do the west like in Socal--away from Mojave.
DREAMS-14: Science Over Mojave III
(Hallie Richardson – Chief Navigator) - March 2012
Almost landed on top of an extinct volcano, ended up 4200 feet high — at Mojave National Preserve.
Dynamic Testing the DREAMS payload at the NASA Ames FIRST Robotics High Bay -- Balloon payloads and robots in the same room

Clicking sound on the videos is the Geiger counter going nuts! Very little air to breath, -45C, increased radiation and its still more hospitable than the surface of Mars!
DREAMS-18 at about 70,000 feet as seen by Quest for Stars balloon - Thanks Bobby Russell!
